CBSE Board Exams 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced the board exams 2026 on February 17, 2026 (Tuesday). According to the schedule, Class 12 board exams will be conducted from February 17 to April 9, 2026 in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The board exams for class 10 will begin on February 17, 2026, and run until March 11, 2026. Exams are scheduled to run from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (or 12:30 PM for some subjects).This year, a total of 25,08,319 students will appear for class 10 board exams, while 18,59,551 students will appear for class 12 exams. Students must strictly wear the school uniform, while private students may wear light clothes. Items prohibited are printed/written material, bits of paper, calculator (except for dyscalculia cases as per CBSE rules), pen drives, electronic pen, scanner, mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, smart watch, camera, wallet, goggles, handbags, pouches, any eatable item (except for diabetic students), any item usable for unfair means.Scroll to check latest updates!, Education News, Times Now

Students reported feeling relieved after taking the Class 10 and 12 board exams on Tuesday, describing the papers as easy to moderate and largely based on the NCERT syllabus.
