What information do we collect from you?
There are some Services in Pasthi which do not need an account on Pasthi and anybody can access it without signing up, for running those Services smoothly we collect some informations related to your browser, location(only if you allows us to do so) and device. Many Services need an account on Pasthi, if you do choose to create an account on Pasthi you must provide us some personal informations like your fullname, email address, country, password and username(unique identifier).
Personal Information
Create an account: You must need to provide fullname, password, email, country and username. Fullname, country and username are public and visible to others, where fullname in your profile is editable.
Update a profile: Your profile is public and visible to all, you can update your profile by providing your name, about channel, country, email and url. Apart from country, all the updates are editable. Country and subscribe button activation are mandatory if you want to post any content on your channel.
Channel Content
We store all of your content(image, gif, text and link) which you posted on your channel, your interaction with content like comment, vote, poll, report, proof and your subscriptions record.
Usage Data
We may also collect information when you use access Service by or through any medium. This Usage Data may include information such as browser type, browser version, the time and date of your visit, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Location Information
We may use and store information about your location only if you give us permission to do so. We process this information to improve and customize our Services for you. You can enable or disable location service at any time by changing your device settings.
Web Endpoint
We also store your web endpoint details, but only by taking your permission. We use web endpoint for sending you push notifications.
Cookies Data
A cookie is a small piece of data that is stored on your computer or mobile device and retrieve back when making requests. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. We use cookies to improve your experience, quality of our Services, personalize content and advertisements. You can disable cookies by changing the settings of your browser, but doing so is not recommended as you may not be able to use some of our Services.
Other Information
Apart from your personal information we also store your subscribe button activation information, all your stamp related information and your account verification documents. Account verification is not a mandatory process, but it's good to verify your account and get the checkmark(verified) badge next to your name. For account verification, if you are an individual you may need to provide any government issued ID proof for verifying yourself and if you are a group, company, brand etc. you may need to provide any business document like recent utility bill, tax-filling etc.
Use of Data
We uses the collected information for various purposes:
to provide and maintain our Services;
to notify you about changes to our Services, updates, general information, security alerts or send administrative messages;
to notify you for latest and trending stories, breaking news, comments, tags, post verfications or for any important events, which needs your attention;
to provide customer support;
to provide safety to Pasthi and our users from spammers, abusers, and from all those users, who do not abide to Pasthi's t&c and other policies.
to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Services;
to monitor the usage of our Services;
to detect, prevent and address technical issues;
to monitor and analyze trending content on Pasthi;
in any other way we may describe when you provide the information;
Retention of Data
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Services, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Pasthi will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Sharing your information
Many of our Services lets you share your information with other users and the public. For example
You can share content(image, gif, text, link) on your channel which is public by default and visible for all the visitors and users who use our Services. You can make content private by using "hidden button" service, it hides your content from other users.
When you leave a comment on a post, vote in a verification and re-verification poll, and post a proof, your name appear next to your activity.
When visitor visits your channel, they will be able to see all your public posted content, your display name, username, stamps, BFP count, and your channel about, url, email and country if you have updated them on your profile.
You can share any posted content(image, gif, text, link) from Pasthi to other social media platform. If you want to know more about data collection and processing during this sharing feature, please visit third party privacy policy to whom you are sharing that content with.
Pasthi do not share your personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred.
To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online Services to post a privacy policy. Account Deletion and Data Removal:
When you choose to delete your Pasthi channel, the following actions will be taken:
Your profile information, photos, stories, and any other data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our servers.
After the deletion process, you will no longer be able to participate in any activities on Pasthi, including discussions, voting, story posts, etc.
The Pasthi mobile app on your Android/iOS device will not function properly after the deletion of your channel and associated data.
How to Delete Your Channel and Data:
To delete your channel and data, please follow these steps:
Download and install the Pasthi mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the Pasthi app and log in using your credentials.
On the home page, click on the top-left button.
Navigate to "Settings."
Click on "Delete Channel."
Enter your password and select "Delete Channel."
Important Note:
Before initiating the deletion process, please carefully review the consequences outlined above. Deleting your channel and data is irreversible, and all associated information will be permanently removed.
Analytics
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.
Advertising
We may use third-party Service Providers to show advertisements to you to help support and maintain our Service.
Behavioral Remarketing
We may use remarketing Services to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimise and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.
Links to Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 18.
