PUNE: Days after allegedly pushing Pune real estate director Ketan Agarwal to his death from Lohagad Fort, his fiancee Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary have turned against each other, with both blaming the other for plotting and carrying out the murder, sources told TOI.

Police said Ketan Agarwal's fiancee Siya Goyal and her lover Chetan Chaudhary remained in constant touch for nearly six months, exchanging a staggering 2,004 calls and spending 238 hours on the phone, before allegedly pushing him to death off the Lohagad Fort.

According to investigators, CCTV footage places Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary at a cafe in Pune on the day before Ketan Agarwal died. Police allege the two used the meeting to plan the crime and studied videos of Lohagad Fort on YouTube to prepare for it.

On the day of the incident, Goyal and Chaudhary allegedly met at a cafe and discussed the plan to eliminate Agarwal, even identifying a suitable spot on the fort from where Agarwal could be pushed, a police officer said on Wednesday.

A potential dream wedding took a deadly turn when 26-year-old Ketan was allegedly pushed into the gorge by Siya (20) and Chetan (22). The duo has now been arrested.
