AYODHYA/LUCKNOW: The noose seems to be tightening around former Ram Temple Trust member Anil Mishra. In the latest development, VHP vice-president and former Trust general secretary Champat Rai has claimed that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were jointly framed by Mishra and State Bank of India officials in Feb 2025 without his knowledge or approval.

A series of meetings involving Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust treasurer Govind Dev Giri took place on Wednesday amid the continuing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the alleged embezzlement of Ram temple donations.

Sources said this team will look after banking-related activities for the Trust and the temple till the July 22 meeting.
