The Ram temple trust has deactivated three digital IDs used to issue VIP darshan passes. The move follows allegations of misuse as an SIT probes financial irregularities in Ayodhya.

The Supreme Court will hear petitions seeking a probe into alleged irregularities in Ram Temple trust donations on July 13. The pleas seek a court-monitored CBI-led inquiry, record preservation and stronger financial oversight.

Congress on Thursday intensified its offensive over the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of remaining silent even as the BJP-RSS establishment was allegedly trying to protect the "big crocodiles" behind the scandal. The party also raised questions over alleged irregularities in land purchases and construction linked to the temple.

In another development in the Ram Temple donation theft case, authorities have recovered cash, jewelry and a four-wheeler based on the details provided by the accused during their questioning. The raids were launched on late Wednesday night and more such actions are expected soon.

The BJP leader expressed confidence in returning to power in Uttar Pradesh.

Sources say Champat Rai, Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao's ID cards have been blocked and VIP pass powers revoked in Ram temple case. Police also recovered cash, gold jewellery and a car from the accused.
