The Monsoon Session of Parliament witnessed another round of confrontation between the government and the Opposition on Wednesday, with the two sides

NEW DELHI: Union home minister Amit Shah on Wednesday offered to sit in Parliament from "3pm today till 3pm the next day" to hear the opposition's concerns and respond to every point, amid protests over his "absence" from the Houses. Leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, however, rejected the offer saying they "seek answers, not lectures."

Parliament's Monsoon Session remains deadlocked, with opposition protests and sloganeering disrupting proceedings despite Amit Shah's offer to discuss the Jantar Mantar police action.

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah said he is ready to discuss any issue in the Parliament as he urged the Opposition to let the proceedings continue and not run away from a debate.
