MUMBAI: Six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs reportedly formed a separate group in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday and submitted a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

Reiterating the party's stand, Raut said the Shiv Sena (UBT) whip remained in force and that the party's legal battle over its identity and rights was continuing. He also revealed that the party had written to the Lok Sabha Speaker regarding the developments.

As part of the plan, the MPs who have signed the letter expressing support for the separate group are expected to appear before Speaker Om Birla in the coming days
