NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday acknowledged technical problems affecting its online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer books.

CBSE has temporarily halted access to its scanned answer book application due to technical issues. The board has assured students that the portal will resume shortly at 2 pm today, and all requests will be processed in phases.

CBSE's announcement on implementing the new language policy for Classes 9 and 10 few days back has brought confusion and uncertainty. Voices are emerging from different corners of India. CBSE 12th re-evaluation 2026: CBSE earlier extended the date for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets, the last date to apply for scanned copies of answer books is May 23, which was set to May 22 earlier. Students will get a scanned copy of the answer books under the RTI Act 2005.
