Three people were killed and seven others remain missing after a landslide struck the Kalladi tunnel construction site in Meppadi grama panchayat of Kerala's Wayanad district, officials said.

A major landslide in Kerala's Wayanad triggered by heavy rainfall has killed two and left several feared trapped under debris.

The landslide occurred near Meenakshi Bridge at Kalladi, close to the site of the ongoing Anakkompoyil-Meppadi tunnel road project connecting Malappuram and Wayanad districts.
