DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi on Thursday moved a motion in the Lok Sabha opposing three key government bills, including the Constitution (131st Amendment), Union Territories Laws (Amendment) and Delimitation Bills, amid a widening row over constituency redrawing. The move came as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin escalated protests by burning a copy of the proposed delimitation bill and launching a statewide agitation, warning it would undermine representation for southern states.
