NEW DELHI: Several CBSE Class XII students took to social media on May 19 seeking clarity over the activation time of the board's answer sheet access portal, hours after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the application window for obtaining evaluated answer scripts would open from May 19.

CBSE 12th re-evaluation window: The students who wish to apply for Class 12 re-evaluation/ re-verification can do so on the official website - cbse.gov.in till May 29. For obtaining a scanned copy of evaluated answer books, the students can apply till May 22.

CBSE 12th Re-evaluation Issues: Subject expert committee will review and communicate the final decision after the verification and rechecking process.

The board said students applying for scanned copies of answer books, verification of marks, or re-evaluation will now have to pay significantly reduced fees compared to earlier stipulated rates. CBSE has also clarified that the re-evaluation fee will be refunded if a student's marks increase after the process.
