NEW DELHI: Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Monday won the Bankipur assembly bypoll, defeating BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar by 19,324 votes after securing 64,151 votes, marking the first electoral victory of his political career.

Bypoll Results: Prashant Kishor has won the Bankipur seat of Bihar, while the Congress bagged the Datia constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP, on other hand, retained the Manjalpur seat in Gujarat.
