NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are likely to continue across large parts of Central and Northwest India over the next 4-5 days, and over East and adjoining Peninsular India during the next 3-4 days, even as it forecast a gradual reduction in maximum temperatures from May 29 onwards in most regions except parts of Rajasthan.
