Delhi residents woke up to a relatively pleasant morning on June 11 as changing weather conditions brought much-needed relief from the intense heat that has gripped the national capital in recent days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is expected to witness a partly cloudy sky that will turn generally cloudy by the afternoon. The weather agency has issued an orange alert for the city.

IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in Kerala till June 14, issuing orange alerts and advising fishermen to stay off the sea.
