An India Today analysis of CBSE students' posts on X found Chemistry at the centre of complaints over marks, answer sheets and re-evaluation. The pattern pointed to confusion over evaluation, delayed copies and alleged checking errors beyond low scores.

The Congress party has accused the Modi government of pushing a political agenda with the CBSE's three-language formula. They claim the move disrupts academic calendars and student futures. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is called a "political hack" who must resign. This follows recent controversies surrounding the CBSE's on-screen marking system and alleged corruption.
