CBI has told a Delhi court that the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak may have originated from an insider within the National Testing Agency.

The student is identified as Rishi Biwal from Janki Public senior secondary school, greencity, Hadikawas, Natata (Jaipur). He scored only 50.80% in class 12th, but would have performed exceptionally well in NEET 2026, with 600/700 marks, if the paper leak racket was not exposed.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), with the approval of the Government of India, has scheduled the NEET UG 2026 re-examination for Sunday, June 21, 2026, following the cancellation of the earlier test over alleged paper leak and examination irregularities.

Kerala CM-designate VD Satheesan noted that his administration would review the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak issue and submit proposals to concerned authorities, following the cancellation and rescheduling of the exam.
