MAHA TET Exam Paper Leak 2026: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has announced postponing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 after reports emerge about a suspected question paper leak in Bhiwandi.

Maharashtra TET 2026 Exam leak case: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have ordered Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with Maharashtra TET 2026 paper leak on Saturday. The SIT has been ordered under Thane Joint CP Panjabrao Ugale. The team includes DCP (Zone 2) Pawan Bansod, along with two ACPs, senior Police Inspectors (PI), Assistant Police Inspectors (API), Police Sub-Inspectors (PSI), and other personnel.

The Thane Police have arrested individuals found in possession with Maharashtra TET 2026 exam question papers which they were attempting to sell.

Nagpur: The alleged leak of the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) question paper forced authorities to postpone Sunday's examination barely a day before it was scheduled, leaving over 17,000 candidates from Nagpur in distress after months and, in some cases, years of preparation.

As the TET was postponed following the alleged leak, the Opposition sought an impartial probe while the government said police were investigating the case.

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination has not yet announced when the postponed examination will be held.
